Experience Ante & Post Natal Pilates

What is Antenatal Pilates?

As you will already know, the body goes through some rather extreme changes whilst pregnant. The IW Therapy led Antenatal Pilates class is a great way to help the body cope with these changes, and is suitable for mothers from 12 weeks of pregnancy. These exercises are safe for both the baby and mother, and are led by our trained specialist. The aim of Antenatal Pilates is to maintain the strength of your core and pelvic floor through to full-term pregnancy. This can help individuals cope with the demands of childbirth itself. Typically, it is best mothers start the class towards the end of their first trimester.

What is Postnatal Pilates?

Are you looking to recover from pregnancy in a safe, structured, and sensible way? Postnatal Pilates will help you to rebuild strength in your core and pelvic floor. Postnatal Pilates can be started from 6 weeks postpartum. Our specialist works to help mums regain their strength and confidence in a fun and nurturing environment.

How Would I Benefit?

Whether you are looking to prepare your body or repair your body, these ante and postnatal classes are specifically designed with your needs in mind. Our specialist is on hand to help you reach your goals in a sensible, safe, and secure way that won’t risk yours or your baby’s health.
